I'm What You Would Call A Chocolate Addict. Consequently It Is Of No Suprise That I Have Chocolate Smudges On My Bedding. I Was Wondering Whether You Could Give Me Advice On How To Remove The Stains Since They Didn't Come Out In The Initial Wash?
1. Use a dull knife or spoon to remove as much of the stain as possible. Then rinse the back of the stain well with cold water.
2. Rub a liquid enzyme detergent into the stain, then soak it in cold water for 30 minutes or until the stain is loosened. Old, persistent stains may need to be soaked for several hours. Occasionally rub the stain between your thumbs as it soaks.
3. Rinse well and allow to dry.
4. If a grease remains, apply a laundry pre-soak (spot stain remover) or treat with dry-cleaning fluid according to the manufacturer’s directions.
