All My New Born's Blankets have stains From Baby Formula. How Can I Remove The Stains So That The Blankets Can Have That New Look Once Again?
Baby Formula always seems to find its way onto baby's blankets and clothes. With these simple tips you'll have no problem restoring your blankets.
1. For fresh stains, soak and agitate the fabric thoroughly in cold water. For dried stains, soak fabric in a sudsy mixture of cold water and liquid enzyme detergent up to 30 minutes, until the stain is loosened. 2. Rinse well. If the stain remains, rub a liquid enzyme detergent into the stain and let stand several minutes.
3. Launder according to instructions on the blanket.
4. If the stain still remains, make a paste of unseasoned meat tenderiser and water, at a ratio of approximately 3 to 1, and rub onto the stain.5. Let the paste dry, then brush it off and rinse the fabric well. If meat tenderiser is not available, soak the stain in enzyme detergent and cold water mixture for up to 30 minutes.6. Apply a laundry pre-soak (spot stain remover) and launder again. On white fabrics, bleach any remaining stain by blotting with lemon juice and setting it to dry in the sunlight.
